Downtown Morganton will host two weekly farmers markets in 2012! The Saturday Market will be in the morning at 300 Beach Street from 8:00 am to 12 noon, and the Wednesday Mini-Market will be in the afternoon in the heart of downtown on North Green Street.

An exhibition of work by 15 preeminent western North Carolina glass artists is scheduled in downtown Morganton June 11- June 29, 2012 at the Burke Arts Council, Kala Gallery and at MESH Gallery. An opening reception is scheduled for Saturday, June 16 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at each of the participating galleries. Work on exhibition will be available for purchase.
