Farmers Market Annual Meeting

Interested in getting involved in the Morganton Farmers Market? Do you have questions about what to expect for the 2018 market season? Then join us at the Morganton Community House on Tuesday, February 13th for the Annual Farmers Market Meeting. From 5:30-7pm we will dine and discuss items involving the 2018 season. Starting dates, ending dates, holiday market dates, WIC program, EBT & Fresh Bucks, and more will be discussed! If planning to attend, please RSVP by Tuesday, February 6th.

$6.00 meal fee. 

Pop-Up Farmers Market

Saturday, February 17th 9am-1pm

Come join your local farmers, bakers and craftsmen at a special Pop-up Farmers Market on Saturday, February 17th from 9:00am to 1:00pm.

Several vendors will be out at the Mini Market location on 111 North Green Street this Saturday selling all sorts of fresh, homemade items. There will be an assortment of goodies for you to pick up for the week ahead.

24th Annual ACC Chili Cook-Off

The ACC Chili Cook-Off presented by Burke County Farm Bureau is a fundraiser for the Downtown Development Association. The event will take place Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm at the Morganton Community House (120 North King Street). A BARGAIN PRICED $7.00 ticket buys all-you-can-eat chili with ALL the fixin’s, cornbread, salad, desert and drink! (If you're busy, you can get it to go!). Tickets go on sale February 1st.

TGIF Showdown

On Friday, June 29th, songwriters and bands from around the region will take part in the inaugural TGIF Showdown competition. Be blown away by the locally grown talent during this special edition of the TGIF Summer Concert Series in downtown Morganton.
